Former Delta IPAC Scribe Commends Okowa on Seven Political Parties Chairmen's appointments

ASABA-  Delta State Chairman, Alliance National Party (ANP), and Former Secretary of Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Delta State Chapter,  Amb. Peters Emuakpoje (JP) has commended the recent Political appointments given to about Seven Political Parties Chairmen in Delta State by  Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

Amb. Peters spoke  to some group of Journalists today in old Government House Unity Hall Asaba, Delta State capital during the inaugural ceremony of the Members of Board of Governing Council of tertiary institutions in Delta State says the gesture is welcome development for opposition political parties.

Delta State Governor recently as part of his efforts to embrace competitive democracy, appointed Seven political parties Chairmen as aides in the following offices: Comrade Pastor David Ashikodi as  EA Inter-Party Relations, Hon. Chief Efe Tobor Josaiah as SSA  Inter-Party Relations, Anabel Cosmos as SA  Inter-Party Relations and Prince Oboro Unuafe as  SSA on information and Orientation.

Amb. Peters Emuakpoje who also doubled as the former Delta State Secretary of Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), commended the exploits of the Governor towards ensuring that the political equilibrium in the State is in good shape, also that the wisdom of the Governor towards ensuring that opposition political parties are in his realm of his administration's stronger Delta agenda is a welcome development.

He also added that the New Board appointments  made by His Excellency, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa also has three Political Parties Chairmen namely: Former IPAC Chairman, and Delta State Chairman of PPA, Hon. Chief Fred Obi, appointed as Member, Board of Governing Council, Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku.

He added that two of their colleagues were also recently announced which  included amongst others: Dr. Anthony Clarke of Alliance for Democrats (AD) as Member, Hospital Management Board, and Barr. Happy Oharisi of C4C Party as Member Rural Water Development Agency.

He noted further that Governor Okowa had brought sustainable peace and development amongst other achievements that is very notable in the State, which he said is in line with his stronger Delta agenda, therefore that socio-economic development in the State is already visible.
