Vandalism: We Are Committed to Campaign On "Change Begins With Me" -Delta NOA Director

ASABA- The Delta State Director, National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mr. John Emah has enjoined  Deltans, South- South people to join force with the Agency on its mission towards the Sensitization of the masses on the conservation and protection of public assets and critical infrastructures in Delta State, South- South region, and Nigeria for sustainable socio-economic development.
Delta NOA Director made this assertion while delivering a welcome Speech presented to the Heads of Federal Parastatals, Agencies of Governments including the security agencies- NPF, NSCDC,  Federal Fire Service, Delta State Ministry of Works,  NYSC,  NYCN, CSOs, NGOs, Students, and other critical stakeholders who were present at the one  day South- South Workshop  "Change Begins With Me Campaign" Agency's Conference Hall at the Federal Secretariat, Asaba, Delta State today being 20th February, 2020
Mr Emah advised the public to be change agents in their various domains to ensure that Delta State Directorate of the National Orientation Agency's  campaign on the mandate of "Change Begins With Me" is channeled towards the  conservation and protection of  public assets, and infrastructures
by adhering to the messages on awareness creation which  hinges on: SAY NO TO:  Oil and gas pipelines vandalization, Unauthorized road cutting/digging, Vandalization of Electricity Cables and Transformers, Destruction/Stealing of road rails and sinages, Remain Patriotic and discipline.
He added that the National Orientation Agency is committed to the  promotion its core mandate which bothers on the following ethics: Patriotism, discipline, integrity, dignity of labour, social justice, religious tolerance and self-reliance for public good towards economic growth and development of the country.

The Stakeholders who graced the events and  delivered lectures included amongst others: The Host if the South-South Campaign, and Delta State Director, NOA, Mr. John Emah, DG NOA, Dr. Garba Abari, The Rep of the DG, NOA, and Rivers Director NOA, Barr. Young Tamuno, Bayelsa State Director, NOA, Mrs Maria Timitinu,  the 2iC,  Rep of South - South(Edo/Delta) Coordinator,  ICPC, Mr Nwafor Eze,  Reps of the Delta State Hon. Commissioner of Police, Delta State Director, Federal Fire Service (FFS), Rep of the Delta State Commandant, NSCDC, Egede Felix, National Youth Council of Nigeria, Comrade Kenneth Okorie, the Director, Delta State Ministry of Works, Dr. Mrs Aboloje J.C, Delta  State Ministry of Health, 2ic to the DG Edo/Delta, ICPC, Mr. Nwafor Eze, Rep of NSCDC, Delta State Command, Mr. Egede Felix, Edo State Director NOA, Mr. Austine Odile, Cross Rivers State Director, Pastor Enoh Uyoh,  Rep of Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CPS Imade Graham, the Director,  Federal Fire Service, Delta State Directorate, Odoekwu Emmanuel, and among others.
Proferrig solutions to the menace of Pipeline Vandalism and societal ills, destruction of public Assets, and other criminal tendencies that bedeviled the Nigerian society and changing the narrative on recent low ranking of Nigeria in terms of the protection of public Assets and critical infrastructures by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) the Heads of different Federal Agencies in their lectures and contributions enjoin citizens  to have attitudinal change, be agents of change in their homes and places of work as well as  avoid criminalities and Support the quest for a better society.

The Director- General of the Agency, Dr. Garba Abari, ably represented by the Rivers State Director, Barr. Young Tamuno Stated that the Campaign has gone far wider even to the grassroots as this is not the first time the Agency kick- Started the awareness creation in the 774 LGAs in Nigeria, then advised stakeholders to intensify more efforts on the campaign for results- oriented development.
