....Says Nigeria Defence Headquarters is Committed to protection of territorial integrity.

....Nigerian  Defence Headquarters Media Operations says old video clips of 2012, 2013 is the handiwork of some mischievous persons.

ABUJA- Nigerian Defence Headquarters  today in a Press release by the Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Major General John Enenche debunks the trending video Clips reports in the media on Warri Killing of a youth, Joseph Pessu in Warri, Delta State recently in the on-going lockdown on the  global pandemic Covid-19.

In the words of Major General John Enenche:"Armed Forces of Nigeria wishes to state that the videos  were old clips of past incidents that took place in 2012 and 2013 respectively".

"The clips are being used by some mischievous elements to tarnish the image of the Armed Forces of Nigeria. Those videos are misleading, as they are not related to the present military engagement of the Armed Forces of Nigeria towards the lockdown on COVID-19".

"The Nigerian Armed Forces sees those clips as calculated attempts to tarnish its professional integrity by some mischief makers."

 The Army Major General then enjoined the members of the public to disregard those videos, that  is the handwork of false news propagators.

 He added that the Armed Forces of Nigeria remains undaunted and would not be distracted.

The Coordinator, Defence Media Operations stated further that the Armed Forces of Nigeria is committed to performing its constitutional roles towards towards ensuring the protection of our territorial integrity and the lives and property of the general public.

 While thanking every Nigerian for their cooperation, he then appealled to the general public help in cushioning the  negative effects of the false video clips by  disseminating  the above information to the general public for awareness through their
 various medium.
