ASABA- The Delta  Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Comrade Kenneth Okorie has enjoined all the Victims of the Corona virus disease to exhibit the faith of the Biblical David  as the time  Goliath was a great threat to the People of  isrealites, while assuring them  that the entire Youths of the State will continue in  prayers, supplications as a mark of  support to Delta State  Governor, Sen. Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, Wife of the Governor, Dame Edith Okowa, Delta SSG, Delta Information Commissioner, other eminent Deltans who are  currently in isolation centre as victims of Covid-19 Pandemic.

Delta NCYN made this remark today  in a press release made available to Newmen in Asaba, Delta State capital as the Youth Council Leadership in the state sympathizes with Governor Okowa's Family and other victims of Covid-19 in the state.

The Youth Leader while authenticating the reality of the pandemic advised the Youths in the state to keep strictly to the preventive measures as specified by Nigeria Center For Disease Control (NCDC) , he then stressed that:  "At this point in time, prayers should be well intensified  as is  the only key that can defeat the Coronavirus disease in the state as cases rises to 1, 218 as at yesterday being Monday, June 6, 2020".

Comrade Kenneth Okie then Quoted the following Scriptures to strengthen the faith of every Biblical David in the Isolation centre towards recovery, sound health, and total healing and  victory over Goliath, which is he said is liken to Covid-19.

He Quoted:  " See 1st  Samuel 17:42. When the Philistine looked about and saw David; he disdained him for he was but a Youth, ruddy and of a fair countenance".

" See Ist Samuel Chapter 17: 45. Then said David to the Philistine You came to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield, but I came to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of Armies of Is real who you have decided".

"See 1st Samuel 17:46 says  This day will the Lord deliver you into mine hand, and I will smite you and take your head from you; and I will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistine into the fowls of the air and to the wild beast of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Isreal".

"See 1st Samuel Chapter 17:47. And all this Assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with Sword, and spear, for the Battle is the Lord's he will give you into our hands".

"See 1st Samuel 17:50 says David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and slew him, but there was no sword in the hand of David".
