Delta@29: Governor Okowa's Aide On Land And Water-Ways Security (DESOPADEC), Hon. Chief Festus Awuta, Applauds Governor Okowa's Exploits On Roads Construction, Peace And Security. Applauds

EWULU-ANIOCHA-SOUTH LGA-DELTA STATE- Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Land and Water-ways Security (DESOPADEC), Hon. Chief Festus Awuta has applauded the sterling achievements of the Executive Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr Ifeanyi Okowa on roads construction, peace and security sectors of the state.

Hon. Chief Festus Awuta made this statement in his country home at Ewulu in Aniocha- South Local Government Area of Delta State, he joined Deltans today being 27th August, 2020 to celebrate as the state marks 29 years of existence.

The Governor's Aide who was the former Ward 9 PDP Chairman, Aniocha -South Local Government Area of Delta state noted that massive roads constructions across the three senatorial districts is worthy of commendation, that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is called the "Road Master" because he exceptionally distinguished himself amongst Governors in different states of the Federations as his achievements in terms of making all the roads in virtually all the communities of the state motorable for socio-economic development of the state and good transportation network system.

He used the medium to thanked the Governor for always showing concern on the state of Ewulu/ Isheagu Community Earth Roads, which according him, the road would been under construction by now if not for the outbreak of covid-19 pandemic, he also commented the Governor for the developmental strides his administration had been able to accomplished within a space of five years and some months, while stating that Delta @29 is a great blessings for the people of the state.

The Governor's Aide also commended the Governor's achievements in the area of peace and security. He said: " Delta @29 is worth celebrating because the peaceful coexistence that is today prevalent amongst different ethnic nationalities of Delta state is as results of Governor Okowa's best approaches to conflict management, crime prevention and control".

He added that Governor Okowa's achievements in peace and security sector which bothers on peace-building, rural development, youth and women development and empowerment as a peace ambassador, a lover of peace, which he said that the initiative is currently being enjoyed by different communities across the state has helped in fulfilment of his stronger Delta Agenda mantra of this present administration towards sustainable development of the state.

Chief Festus Awuta while thanking God for Governor Okowa's support to Communities in Aniocha South, he also used the medium to applauds the political leadership style of the Former Member Representing Aniocha/ Oshimili Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, and present Director-General, Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency, Rt. Hon. Onyemaechi Joan Mrakpor, and the three times Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government, Hon Isaac Anwusia and prayed for God's protection upon their lives.
