Ikporikpo Says PDP Has Come To Stay In Delta

The Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Community Development, Hon Japhet Ikporikpo has said that the outcome of the State Party Congress conducted at the Cenotaph, Asaba shows that PDP has come to stay in Delta State.

Ikporikpo disclosed this to reporters in Asaba, Delta State, after the state party congress on Saturday and commended the People's Democratic Party, PDP, for the peaceful party congress.

He noted that PDP has come to stay in Delta State, adding that no opposition can wrestle with the party and admonishing Barr. Kingsley Esiso to sustain the peace and unity in the party that made them one United family so as to also maintain consensus in the electoral processes in the state.

He then appealled to the youths to key into the Delta State Government skill acquisition programs such as YAGEP, STEP, to promote self-employment and self- reliance.

He also congratulated the newly elected state executives of the party, under the leadership of the state Chairman, Barr. Kingsley Esiso to sustain the peace and unity of the party as one United family to promote the stronger Delta Agenda mantra of this Present Administration.
