Nwabundo Commends PDP For Peaceful Congress, Urge Other Political Parties To Emulate Them

The Councillorship aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ward 9A, Isheagu, Comrade Princewill Chinedu Nwabundo has commended the People's Democratic Party, PDP, for a peaceful Congress that took place at the Cenotaph, Asaba.

Princewill made this assertion while speaking to newsmen at the State Congress at Asaba, on Saturday, that returned the incumbent Chairman of the party, Chief Barr. Kingsley Esiso back to power.

Princewill Chinedu Nwabundo, who was a one time National Secretary and chapter treasurer of NADESSTU, UNIBEN Chapter, noted that the way and manner the Congress was conducted, it means that youths like him, will like to take politics as a profession than looking at it from the perspective of dirty game.

The Councillorship aspirant commended the Delta State Governor, Sen. Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa for encouraging youths in politics and also for giving them the opportunity to contribute to governance.

"My quest to serve is to contribute my quota", adding that when he was the treasurer at the University of Benin, UNIBEN, he was able to move into the leadership of Delta State as National Secretary, Delta State Students Association (NADESSTU) as an undergraduate.

Nwabundo appeal to the state Chairman, ward Chairmen to make sure that transparency is observed in the ward primary, adding that it is the duty of the people to elect who will represent them at their respective local government.

He also called on the State Chairman of PDP to sustain and maintain the image of the party so as to support the Governor's stands on stronger Delta Agenda mantra of this present Administration.
