A World Distinguished Philanthropist, Founder/ CEO, Vera Gold Foundation, Mrs Vera Gold Osagiede has said that she will continue to support the widows and less privilege persons in her state, Imo State Communities and some other south eastern states and Nigeria in general as part of the efforts to deepen her philanthropic services to the humanity or entire society.
Mrs Vers Gold Osagiede, a distinguished Nollywood Actress and international business mogul disclosed this to our reporter while fielding questions today being 8th September, 2020 to mark the World International charity day stated that she had been in the work of charity for the past 16 years even when she was in spain before moving to London.

She said that the promoting of SDGs such as ensuring zero hunger, poverty reduction amongst the rural populace, rural Communities, Widows, less-privilege persons, orphans had been her major thematic areas of her interventions as a development worker in various States of Nigerian Federation, while taken Lagos as a sample space as places she had touched with her philanthropy.

The World distinguished Artiste stated that she had decided to show that charity begins at home by remembering some communities in her state, IMO state where currently some wipes, organs, the less-privilege persons, and elderly persons as well needed some help which she recently did and still going to do again and continuously to compliment the efforts of IMO State Government towards the fulfilment of the 17 United Nations SDGs.

She added that despite her plan to also extend her hands of love to some needy people in other states of the Federation, that her ultimate goal now is for her organization to build a home for the elderly, old people, aged ones in different communities of IMO state, also that she will ensure that food is made available for them to eat as well as pay those that will as well cater for the elderly ones in that home for their sustainable upkeep, health and maintenance of good standard of living.

She finalized by saying that on October 1st, 2020 the Foundation will embark on rally in London on quest to support girl child education and put to a stop to cases of rape.
