Our reporter learnt this in a telephone conversation with Chief Oghenovo Edewor, a renowned philanthropist based in Delta State, Nigeria, who stated that he celebrated the Christmas and New year seasons with his Foundation's Coordinators across the 25 LGAs of Delta State this year 2021 at Sandhill Hotel, Warri, Delta State as part of efforts to encourage his followers on the group's achievements and legacy in the area of support towards the less-privilege citizens, also promote more philanthropic services, and in the fulfilment of other objectives of the Foundation.

According to him, this signified a reiteration of the Foundation's key objectives and authenticating our dedication to uplifting the lives of the less privileged.

For many who spoke at the event, it was all prayers, commendations and appreciation for The Foundation's efforts.

Chief Edewor, an international business mogul said that the extensive work done by him towards sustaining the works of the foundation over the years was not lost as he is currently enjoying massive support from Deltans, Nigerians and other stakeholders in the civic space.

those at the event, included the state coordinator of the foundation, Comr Ufuoma Awiniki who acknowledged everyone present for their unwavering belief and support towards The Foundation's goals.
The event clearly revealed a new energy that many believe would drive The Foundation towards greater exploits for 2021.

It also further revealed that, the unique leadership qualities of a young entrepreneur whose family history, global educational exploits and a knowledge of local trends have clearly exposed him to a greater appreciation of the core factors necessary for social advancement in society.

at the event, Several coordinators accross the state also made suggestions on ways to further enhance The Foundation's already far reaching social interaction efforts, through campaigns to collate personal details of those willing to be part of the team.

Our reporter also interviewed the senior executive assistant and Director of Media to Chief Edewor, Comrade Great Poyo, who expressed the views of all present in his submission, he said: "Chief Edewor's eagerness to reach out to humanity is evident in various acts of charity carried out by the foundation over the years, witnessed in food distributions, sponsoring of educational pursuits, financial assistance for medical treatments and many more".

There were also narratives by individuals who have experienced, first-hand, the philanthropic efforts of the foundation. One of the many stories was told by a
Prophet Onojayefe Brown coordinator
from Sapele of the assistance provided during his son's wedding when members from The Foundation came in numbers, cooked meals and presented gifts to the couple".

Others stated that "Several years into its creation, the foundation is already well established across the 25 local governments in the Delta State. It has built a dedicated following that clearly establishes it as a new paradigm in youth empowerment and leadership in Delta state."

Mr Emmanuel Dongbron a cordinator from Udu LGA stated that "The growing membership and popularity, the Chief Oghenovo Edewor Foundation has become more of a movement and a symbol of mental and social liberation for the youths in the state who identify with the ideals of 'leadership by example' that it has consistently promoted. For many, The Foundation has clearly set itself apart from an outmoded system that has consistently sidelined a large part of Delta state's youth population in critical social discourse".

"With the renewed commitment shown by the coordinators, and a consensus on the need to further enlighten people across the state about the vision and achievements of the foundation, the exploits for the new year will likely further open new frontiers in philanthropy and build a larger following across Delta State and ensure a shift in public perception of what youth leadership truly represents".
