Covid-19: ASLG Traditional Medicine Practitioners Initiatives More Modern Research Approaches To End Menace.

...... As Aniocha South LGA Chapter, Traditional Medicine Practitioners Sets To Host the Association's 25 LGAs, State Chapter Executives, Members On 10th of  April, 2021 In  the morning, by 10am at Ogwashi-Uku, At Prof Jemico's Compound.

.....ASLG Chapter Commends Board's Management, Says it Will Host The State Traditional Medicine Practitioners Board on May 17th, 2021 in the morning by 10am, At Professor Jemico's Compound Isah Road Ogwashi-Uku On inspection of Members in the 25 LGAs for Membership Authentication, Drive, Registration, Renewal, Research, and Covid-19 Solutions, And Empowerment.

Traditional Medicine Practitioners, Aniocha South LGA Chapter led by its Chairman, Professor Jemico Okeleke has said that the group's research on the Solutions to Covid-19 pandemic will be all encompassing as it planned more enlarged meetings with the State Chapter of the Association to promote Sustainable health, and grassroots Development in Delta State, Nigeria and the rest of the World.
The group Chairman, Professor Jemico Okeleke alongside the Executives, and other members made this disclosure to Newsmen today being Friday, 26th March, 2021 during an enlarged meeting of the group at Prof Jemico's Compound, Isah Road, Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South LGA, Delta State, stated that the members has Solutions to the Covid-19 pandemic, that more research is on going towards ending the menace.
The Leadership enjoined their members to take the message to the grassroots, others who were not opportuned to attend the meeting whether registered or non-registered that more visitation will be made by the group's Executives to the three clans(Nsukwa, Ubulu and Ogwashi-Uku), over 22 Communities that make up the Local Government to awaken the spirit of members on the importance of Associating, attending meetings and being a duly registered, liscence member by the government and the Association.

Professor Jemico used the avenue to thank the members for honoring today's invitation for a meeting on the group's partnership with a non-governmental organization (NGO) stated that the State visit, which Aniocha South LGA Chapter has been earmarked to host the Delta State Chapter Executives, members meeting in Ogwashi-Uku, Prof Jemico's Compound, Isah Road Ogwashi-Uku next month, upper Wednesday, being April 10th, 2021, by 10am .

Professor Jemico Okeleke then enjoined them on the need to mobilize their members in Aniocha South LGA Chapter to grace the occassion and make Contributions towards ending the Covid-19 pandemic ravaging the World at large through mobilization of both registered and non-registered members at the grassroots for sustainable health Development.

Professor Jemico Okeleke while commending the Leadership, Management of the Delta Traditional Medicine Governing Board, an Agency of Delta State Government for the recent invitation and Workshop or seminars given to members towards self Development, -improvement. He then informed the members of to get prepared for the proposed May 17th, 2021 by 10am in the morning will be Traditional Medicine Governing Board's visit to the group in Aniocha South LGA as the Board will be touring the 25 LGAs in Delta for an inspection of members with 2 Herbal inspectors in each LGAs to be in the trip during the movement.

He intimated members on the need to be committed on their job as they will be empowered by concerned stakeholders to enable them carry out their research. Also, Professor Jemico Okeleke noted further that members should be well informed that the group is no longer a State or Nigerian affairs.

He said that a new name, formation has being reached by the highest Leadership Echelon of the Association and had renamed the group as "African Traditional Medicine Practitioners" to embrace the trend of time and promote coherence, African ties, strength all for Sustainable health development not only in Nigeria, but in Africa and the rest of the World.
