An illustrious son of Anioma Nation, Prince Ned Nwoko was yesterday in his country home at Idumuje-Ugboko Kingdom, Aniocha North LGA, Delta State conferred a tittle by a group under the aegies of "Umu Anioma Solidarity Group, The G9".
The event was a mark of honor to Prince Ned Nwoko and Family from Anioma Cultural group. The kind gestures or recognition also commend their efforts on greatest Achievements in the society, which was extended to Prince Ned Nwoko's Wife, Mrs Regina Nwoko, and Sister, Barr. Mrs Nwoko. Prince Ned Nwoko was honoured as "Ogochukwu Meli Umu Anioma", his wife Mrs Regina Nwoko was honoured as "Ochiligwe Umu Anioma", and his sister was honoured as "Ezinne Umu Anioma".
G9 Group is a true replica -of Anioma Cultural heritage as the group's leadership is known for her Cultural attire, well dressed in "Akwa Ocha", followed by some cultural symbols such as Anioma cultural renditions; traditional dance, music, greetings, Songs, Anioma technology, artifacts, beliefs, Cultural bands and other Cultural signs and symbols that distinguishes Anioma People globally. It testifies her ancestral inheritance.
Anioma People all over the World are known for their rich Cultural heritage and traditions, spirit of hospitality, hearts of gratefulness, gratitude to those whose lifestyle characterises service to humanity; philanthropy, community service and volunteerism.
The Publisher of Shocknaija news and Delta Uhuru News online was part of the trip and observed the relevance of Anioma cultural group that projected Anioma people in the country home of Prince Ned Nwoko at Idumuje -Ugboko, Aniocha North LGA, Delta State.
The group leadership, G9 National Secretary, Hon. Jeff Ezeagwu during the presentation of his speech before the conferment of the Tittle stated that, "Umu Anioma Solidarity Group, the G9 is a registered socio-cultural, political group with representation and membership in the 9 Local Government Areas of Anioma Nation. The group believe in the saying that charity begins at home. He stated that "G9 is fully with Prince Nedum Nwoko, and are very proud of his accomplishments in life, and society at large".
The G9 National Chairman, Engr. Uche, National Secretary, Hon. Jeff Ezeagwu, Principal officials and other members of the team told our reporter soon after the conferment ceremony that the gestures has become necessary as Ned's achievements in the global context is a thing of happiness, joy and very visible to the entire sons and daughters of Anioma Nation, Delta State and Nigeria, Africa and the rest of the World.
G9 National scribe in an interview with our reporter listed Prince Ned Nwoko's exploits to include: The fight for eradication of Malaria in Africa, Refund of the Paris club fund, establishment of World class Sports University ( Star University under construction at Idumuje-Ugboko), Procurement and disbursement of covid-19 palliatives during and after the lockdown, and scholarship to many indigent students among others.
Responding to the colourful presentation and honor, Prince Ned Nwoko commended G9 for coming to honor him, his Wife, and Sister with tittles at this time. He stated "The conferment of these Tittles to me as your accomplished son and one of my wives, the daughter of Anioma Nation is a welcome Development".
G9 group said: "The honor being extended to Prince Ned Nwoko's wife, Mrs Regina Daniel Nwoko, an illustrious daughter of Anioma Nation is as a result of her contributions in no small measure to the promotion and projection of Anioma Culture and traditional heritage through her exploits in the entertainment industry via Nollywood cannot be forgotten. It is on this note, Umu Anioma Solidarity group, the G9 decided to honor the astute politician, the World renowned legal luminary and generous son of Anioma Nation. Also Ned's sister, Barr. Mrs Nwoko contributed greatly to the society in her legal profession and service to humanity".
Speaking further, Prince Ned Nwoko commended the group for preserving the cultural heritage of Anioma Nation. He then promised to partner with the group, not basically for politics but for the primary purpose of promoting, projecting and preserving Anioma Culture.
Prince Ned Nwoko, a World Distinguished Cultural and Tourism expert narrated his cultural experiences as a child, teanager, Adulthood till date. He said that he passed through all his Community's cultural intimations as a child and youth then as part of Anioma, African traditions or Cultural practices.
According to him, "At the age of 14 years I was Honoured with a tittle "Ichi Ozor" then proceeded to another cultural experience in African traditions in his Community as a teenager then called " "Iche-Aka" to the highest Cultural initiations from different stages to become a Native Doctor".
No doubt, Prince Ned Nwoko is a symbol of African Culture and tradition as he stated that he was happy to identify with the people and to promote the production of "Akwa Ocha" and other Anioma Cultural attires for generational purposes.
Prince Ned Nwoko's house is adjudged to be the finest house in Nigeria as the entire ediffice is made of traditional fabrics, building materials "Eja- Ocha", "Eja-Ulu", That red sand, and Clay soil.
While pledging partnership with the leadership of Anioma solidarity group G9, he promised to sponsor and  train Anioma Youths on the imperatives of protecting and preserving Anioma culture towards handing over the culture, traditions of Anioma people to the younger generations for sustainable socio-economic development of the people.
