Delta Youths YCBBD: Training Kick-starts As Basic Knowledge On Entrepreneurship Development Top Lists.

...Gbandi, Aniemeke, Obi, Ogbo, Osakwe, Others Harped On Business Development Program to address Youths unemployment.

As part of efforts to ensure free transfer of knowledge from the diasporan Nigerians to Delta, Nigerian Youths towards being very well equipped with basic knowledge on business development, entrepreneurship, and skill development, German based Development consultant, Program Director/ CEO, African-German Information Centre (AGIC, Germany), Hon. Kenneth Gbandi has said that knowledge gained will be a great access to the Youths towards sustainable growth and development of their businesses.
Gbandi disclosed this to our reporter at the ground breaking opening ceremony to begin the highly publicized Youths YCBBD Training in Delta State yesterday being on 6th of April, 2021 at the Secretariat of the Senior Civil Servants Association of Nigeria, Asaba, Delta State capital

The development Activist then enjoined Delta, Nigerian Youths as the program kick-starts in day one of the Youths Capacity Building to take advantage of the skill development Seminars, workshops to deepen their knowledge on managerial, financial, entrepreneurial skills to perfect in proposal writing and how to access both local and International funds for their businesses.

YCBDD Global Project Director (GPD) and CEO, Africa-German Information Center, Hamburg, Germany told Newsmen that before the closure of the registration, that one week grace is still available for Youths to register online and manually at the venue to partake in the Youths capacity building program, he then stated that over 500 persons who registered online for the program attended the program for the first day while he urged the Youths to avail themselves of the opportunity to be part of the YCBBD training in Asaba to boost self-development and employment as well as promote socio-economic development of the state and Nigeria in general.

Gentlemen of the Press. He equally thank Chief Tony Ogbo (SA to Executive Governor of Delta State for all your efforts and commitment in making this event a success".

" The objectives of the Training include:• Coaching participants to develop business ideas, write proposals, apply for business funding opportunities, and maintain good relationships with customers. Also, Improving participants' knowledge of the use of ICTs in business. It will also help participants identify ICTs tools that are freely available and understand how to use and apply them to their business".

"And Strengthening the agriculture value chain by teaching the participants how to engage in marketing/exports of agricultural products. Others are: Providing transferable skills, business motivation, networking, and mentorship to enhance participants' capacity to set up and sustain business enterprises".
