Professor (Mrs.) Mercy Ada Anyiwe, A World Distinguished Professor of Economics, (Development Economics, Statistics, and Health Economics), University of Benin, Edo State will by next week provide Way-forward and profer solutions to the problems bedeviling Nigerian and African Economies as UNIBEN sets for her Inaugural Lecture - 243rd Inaugural Lecture series of UNIBEN.
The media learnt this today from Professor (Mrs.) Mercy Ada Anyiwe in a media chat with our reporter today being Wednesday, 12th of May 2021 via telephone conversation as she stated that the Institution's Lecture series will be held under the Distinguished Chairmanship of the UNIBEN's Vice -Chancellor, Professor Lilian .I. Salami.

Professor (Mrs) Mercy Ada Anyiwe will be speaking on the topic: "Wealth And Health of Nations: Statistical Pointers To The Promised Land of Economic Development, or Economic Doom. Which Way Nigeria, Which Way Africa?".

According to the erudite Professor, the UNIBEN'S Inaugural Lecture series will take place by 4pm.00 Prompt on Thursday, 20th of May, 2021 at Akin Dekko Auditorium, Ugbowo Campus, UNIBEN, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria and Guests are expected to be seated by 3.30pm Prompt to get the best at the event.

Prof Anyiwe, a Seasoned Development, Statistics and Health Economist is set to use 21st Economic Models and her expertise knowledge in the field to set Nigeria and Africa free from Economic quagmire.

No doubt, Economic growth and Development will be recorded in Nigeria and Africa as the aftermath and positive outcome of this Inaugural Lecture series to all Nigerians, Africans and the society at Large.

She then called on Green Academia, Political office holders, Education Stakeholders; UNIBEN'S Students, Staff and other critical Stakeholders to attend the event.

The University DON also urged all attendees to ensure that they come with their face-masks and abide strictly to all Covid-19 protocols in the Institution during the inaugural Lecture series.
