ICWLS Global Recognition: UNESCO Laureate Applauds Ambrose Ali University VC on Golden Award.


Prof. Ignatius Akhakhia Onimawo has been honoured with a First Class Package Golden Award as “The Most Notable VC of the 21st Century” by the International Chartered World Learned Society, the United States-based organisation, with offices in Africa, Asia, Europe and Oceania.
The media learnt this today from the Vice Chancellor, Crown University Int'l Chartered Inc a global private, accredited, recognized, Innovative, autonomous, Research University in Santa Cruz Province, Argentina, South America with Official constituent Campuses and partners in Ghana, Benin Republic, Togo, Nigeria, Liberia, India, lsrael , Saudi Arabia and associates world wide and UNESCO Laureate, And World Acclaimed Distinguished Professor of Information Communication Technology, ICT, Professor Sir Bashiru Aremu in a press statement made available to news men by Prof Aremu's Media and Publicity Department who applauded Prof Ignatius Akhakhia Onimawo 's contributions to the society, especially the global media sector, industry.

Prof Ignatius Akhakhia Onimawo was honoured with golden award of first class package as "Most Notable And Top Distinguished VC of the 21st Century by ICWLS. The awards was presented by the World Grand President, H. E, UNESCO Laureate, Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu (World Acclaimed Distinguished Professor Emeritus ratified by UNESCO top up by UNN Nigeria CSER Malaysia MPRH Institute Iran WCU USA ICERE Argentina South America and others worldwide) to mark the International Media day, which is celebrated on every 3rd May each year.

UNESCO Laureate, Prof. Sir Bashiru Aremu noted that the global recognition of Prof. Ignatius Akhakhia Onimawo, the Vice-Chancellor, Ambrose Ali University was in honor of his immense contributions to the global knowledge industry through Educational research, Administration and Management.

The press release reads in parts: "The insignia of the awards included certificates, a half-moon glass, a muffler, a silver medal, a plaque and other instruments of the Society presented in recognition of the avocation, enthusiasm and reputation of the honouree".

"Prof Ignatius Akhakhia Onimawo was born on the 20th of July, 1957 in Afowa, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State. He attended St James' Grammar School, Afuze from 1972-1976 where he bagged his WASCE(Division One), 1976. With this feat he was admitted into the great University of Ibadan in 1977 for his B.Sc. in Agricultural Biochemistry and Nutrition where he graduated with a second class upper division in 1982".

"Prof. Onimawo started his working career as a lecturer III in the Science And Technology Department of the Federal Polytechnic, Idah, Kogi State in 1983 and rose through the ranks of the position of Chief Lecturer in 1999 before he left to join the Services of Ambrose Ali University as a Senior Lecturer in 1999. In 2001, he left to take up an appointment with Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike and rose to the rank of a Professor in that University".

"Professor Onimawo is a pace-setter, a socialite and good mixer with knack for being the best. He is an academia of high repute. He has Distinguished himself in areas of research and Publications. He has 116 Publications both nationally and Internationally with 20(twenty) in nutritional research to his credit. He has attended several conferences and seminars/symposia locally and Internationally presenting academic papers, especially in scientific meetings. He has attended numerous Workshops and delivered lectures globally in his chosen field".
