UN SDGs: La Vida Foundation Celebrates Tripple Events, Achievements In Delta.

......As Foundation Celebrates Children's Day, International Day Of Menstrual Hygiene, Puts Smile In The Faces Of Couple.

As part of efforts to deepen the need for the Child Rights advocacy and Women Development and Empowerment to curtaik the negative effects of domestic, Gender-based violence, and sexual harassment in the society, Delta Born Multi-media Practitioner, Film Producer cum World distinguished development Activist, Founder/CEO, La Vida Foundation, Ambassador Favour J. Obakoro aka Vida Modelo on Children's Day Celebrates in grandstyle with Delta Children, while she offered support to a couple in need towards the promotion of zero hunger as UN SDGs.

The Publishers off Shocknaija, Delta Uhuru media were part of the observers at the maiden Children's Day Celebration organized by Mega Impack Foundation.

La Vida Foundation is a leading International NGO with thematic areas in the fight against human trafficking, promotion of Women development, Children, Youths and Girl Child advocacy concern for good parental upbringing and sound moral for younger kids, generation towards societal development.

Vida Modelo during the Celebration upon visits to some Children's events presented gifts, offered useful guidance and counselling sections to children while playing the role of parents towards best children's upbringing for a well behaved and developed society. She enjoined parents, teachers, Governments and other agents of socialization to abide by God's standard in Child upbringing, which says train up a Child in the way he or she should so that when they grow old, becomes Youths they won't depart from it".

According to her while doing her Presentation at one of the event ground, "Internationally, on the 28th day of May, the world celebrates the Menstrual Hygiene Day which draws attention to the intimate as well as the physical attributes of the woman or the girl-child".

The CEO/ Founder of La Vida Foundation, Amb. Favour J. Obakoro aka Vida Modelo who was one of the facilitators advised the younger female generation against the ills of human trafficking as well as sensitizing them on the loopholes traffickers adopt.

She also encouraged young girls in Delta and beyond to embrace one another by supporting each other. The development Activist opined that, "Women supporting women starts from the grassroots, the young girls, you and I".

The event which was
hosted by Mega Impact Foundation was held at Infant Jesus Academy, Asaba, Delta State. Many schools were Present including the host school such as "St. Brigid's Girl's Grammar School, Marble Hill School as well as Anglican Girl's Grammar School", all within the State capital, Asaba, Delta State.

Leveraging more on UN SDGs, Amb Vida Modelo "Later in the day, counselled a couple, Mr. & Mrs. Onyekachi, who had challenges and soon after, in the spirit of the slogan of the Foundation, "Changing Lives", the couple were in high spirits, filled with joy as they were not only counselled but got empowered and they expressed their appreciation and promised to be better parents for their children and the society at large".

In addition to the above mentioned UN SDGs domestication by the Delta based NGO, the CEO, Ambassador Favour J Obakoro also yesterday supported a couple who heard what she was doing in the State in one of her advocacy narrated the hardships the family was going through as a result of loss of Job by the Woman's husband who is the bread winner of the family. She mobilized funds to support the couple so as to continue in her organization's quest to end hunger and stable family through economic Empowerment of Women.

Our reporter in a separate interview with the beneficiaries and La Vida Foundation CEO, the couple while promising to be better parents for their children, then appreciated the Foundation, Ambassador Vida Modelo for her support to their family, and initiative towards resolving impending conflicts in the family caused by unemployment and economic hardships by putting smile in their faces so as to get physically and emotionally stabilized showing the picture of a society that cares.

Ambassador Vida Modelo while responding to the kind gestures of the beneficiaries pledges more support to the family, Delta Children, the less-privilege in the society and mankind in general.
